No. Toute Nuit patches are cut from large rolls of skin safe hypoallergenic medical grade tape into our unique patch shapes. The patches are just tape. They contain no other ingredients or additives. They contain no latex.

Depending on your age and condition of your skin when first starting to use Toute Nuit, provided you follow the directions, you should see results after the first application and over the first week of use. It is important to use them continuously and to leave them on long enough to have the desired result.

No, but it is recommended. Applying a thin layer of moisturizer as indicated in our directions hydrates the skin and when the patch is placed over it seals it in the skin increasing its efficacy, plus it will not evaporate or rub off. After applying the moisturizer pat off the excess with a tissue and then let it dry before applying the patch. A thin layer of moisturizer also helps release the adhesive power of the patch so they are easier to peel off and re-use a second time. You can use any preferred non-greasy moisturizer or other skin products.

It is NOT recommended! The cause of facial wrinkles is the repetitive movement of the under lying facial muscles. If you stretch out the skin and attempt to pre-flatten the targeted wrinkle zones before applying the patches it causes tension in the facial muscles, they are not able to relax and naturally fill in the wrinkle lines over time with repeated use. Also, stretching out the skin is like pulling on a rubber band, stretching the skin creates tension which the patch maintains until it is peeled off. The skin will snap back into place and could make your wrinkle lines more severe.

Yes. Everyone’s face is different and it is OK to use a pair of scissors to trim the patches as necessary to ideally fit over your targeted wrinkle zones.

This can happen if you use the patches more than twice as the adhesive glue weakens. Or if you are wearing in hot, humid weather it can weaken or slightly soften the adhesive to leave some glue residue on your face. The best way to remove is by using the adhesive side of the patch you just peeled off your face, gently rub it across the residue area so it will attract it like a magnet and pull it off. Do not re-use the patch again, please place it in the trash. You can also use your favorite face cleanser. But do not scrub or rub the skin too hard as it can cause redness.

Depending on your age and condition of your skin when first starting to use Toute Nuit, if you already have very deep set wrinkle lines Botox (or other fillers) are a proven effective way to fill in those lines. Toute Nuit will not be as effective on such deep set lines. Using Toute Nuit patches over the Botox treated wrinkle zones will help extend the effectiveness of these treatments. Botox treatments can last 2-3 months; Toute Nuit can help extend time intervals between treatments. Reducing the frequency of Botox treatments will save you money as Toute Nuit patches are more affordable on a daily basis. Of course if you start using Toute Nuit in your 20’s or 30’s you may never need Botox treatments !

You may not have cleaned your skin completely leaving some natural facial grease and dirt on the skin that weakened the adhesive strength of the patch. Or you may have used a grease based moisturizer which we cautioned against using in our directions, too much greasy residue weakens the adhesive strength. Or you may have applied too much of your preferred non-greasy moisturizer and did not let it dry before applying the patch. Be sure to use a thin layer of moisturizer, gently pat it dry with a tissue to remove excess and let it dry before placing the patch over targeted wrinkle zones. No. The FDA does not regulate facial wrinkle patches made from adhesive tape with no additives. However, for Toute Nuit we decided to follow FDA packaging regulations so that we are fully compliant in case someday they do decide to regulate facial wrinkle patches.
